(558) Implicit Bias I: Breaking The Iceberg

This course designed to meet the implicit bias training requirement for health care & dental care professionals.   To become more diverse, equitable, and inclusive, many professionals have turned to unconscious (implicit) bias training.  This course raises awareness of the mental shortcuts that lead to snap judgments, which often is based on race and gender, about people’s character. 

LARA states:  Implicit Bias training, beginning June 1, 2022 and all renewal thereafter healthcare licensees seeking renewal must complete 1 hour of implicit training for each year of the applicant’s license cycle, for the first renewal on or after June 1, 2022 licensees will only need to have 1 hour for each year.
